About Me
Welcome,
My name is Meghan and I grew up in both Missouri and Illinois. I attended preschool in Missouri and moved to Illinois when I was 4 years old. I am now a junior at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. I am majoring in mathematics and minoring in secondary education.
It is my dream to become a high school mathematics teacher within the next 3 years at a suburban high school. I strive to use my teaching ability to help every student I encounter reach their full potential. It is my belief that every student is capable of learning and using mathematics if they are taught correctly. I plan to use my wide range of pedagogical techniques to ensure that I reach every student that enters my classroom. I want to foster understanding, creativity, and critical thinking in my classroom.
